🎵 ETHNIC SINGING CIRCLE
Work Songs: From the Soil to the Sea
After our journey to Africa, the Traditional Singing Circle continues with work songs: voices born in the fields, on boats, and in homes, places where rhythm helped the body endure and the voice forged bonds between people. 🌾🌊
We will sing songs of farmers and fishermen from diverse traditions, discover how music served as a tool for survival and community, and experience the power of the collective voice.
🌟 What we’ll do:
🎤 Sing work songs from various traditions
🥁 Follow the rhythm that kept people in sync while working
🤝 Connect and harmonize as a group through our voices
📅 When: Saturday, October 17
⏰ Time: 16:00–18:30
🎫 Cost: €20
For whom: Everyone! (No musical knowledge required)
