ABOUT US
Aeriko is a Social Cooperative Enterprise based in Athens, dedicated to creating a welcoming and safe space where art, education, and community intersect. We bring together people of all ages through workshops, community initiatives, seminars, and creative gatherings. We believe that creativity is a powerful tool for connection, self-expression, and social change.
Through a broad range of creative and experiential activities (from dance and visual arts to storytelling and music) we design workshops, activities, and seminars for children, adults, families, and vulnerable social groups (including refugees, migrants, single-parent families, individuals with disabilities, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and unemployed individuals).
Our work includes:
🎨 Regular weekly/monthly workshops for children, adults, and parent-child groups
🌍 Social initiatives that support integration, foster a safe environment, promote cultural exchange, and empower vulnerable social groups through solidarity
📚 Educational programs, seminars, standalone and themed events, as well as school partnerships
🎉 Community events (pop-up markets, a book exchange library, themed workshops, and free cultural evenings)
Omada Aeriko has a zero-tolerance policy towards all forms of racism, discrimination, and stigma. Our vision is to create a space where every individual. regardless of background, abilities, or social circumstances, feels included, seen, and free to express themselves. We believe that art empowers everyone to create, communicate, and feel part of a community.
Our core team comprises a psychologist, a visual artist, a musician/music therapist, a social anthropologist, a sequential artist, and a yoga instructor, alongside a broader network of collaborating artists and educators. We also partner with local organizations and participate in social and cultural events aligned with our vision and goals.
Our aim is an open, creative, and fully inclusive coexistence.
